EcoFacilitation’s Business ModelIdealism: high-mindedness: elevated ideals or conduct; the quality of believing that ideals should be pursued Entrepreneurial: having the qualities that are needed to identify opportunities for setting up profitable businesses and/or social development ventures EcoFacilitation differs from all other companies in it is only in the business of 'facilitation' - we are not traders since we are not the "buyers." We only perform our core functions of whole chain management, and then market and perform product development for an agreed upon percentage of the final wholesale price. As buyers, these other business models have a conflict of interest because they must negotiate price even if they say they are partners. EcoFacilitation is paid based on results and a piece of the action. Unlike traders, we do not benefit from creating obstacles that line our pockets or hide the supply chain in order to stay in the middle and protect our own self-interest. We are willing to invest our time in the start up phase, as long as expenses are met and we get enough compensation to be able to afford to do this. |
